Ylla 1878 Flours is a small flour mill located in the Barcelona region, with over 140 years of history, producing high-quality flours for bakers, pastry chefs, pizza makers, the hospitality industry, and other sectors.
The company is aware that maximum quality arises from the sum of effort and experience. That’s why Ylla has chosen to reclaim a stone mill, traditional milling methods, and leverage over a century of history to produce unique, organic origin flours.
A slow, low-temperature milling process is carried out with granite millstones, reducing the stress on grains and cereals while preserving all their properties.
The environmentally friendly production process, which brings health and territorial benefits, as it involves local cereals, has been accredited by the Catalan Council of Organic Agricultural Production (CCPAE).
Thanks to this process, the flours obtained from different cereals are consistent and of high quality.
